3D-test-Work in Progress

This is my latest 3d test, its still a work in progress. As you can tell, stuff still pops and is just blocked in, graphs still need smoothing and so forth,etc. Having said that, this animation has taken me literally half the time as my 1st attempt did, which is posted on my blog as well. As usual, comments and suggestions are welcome.

11 second club submission - October

My latest attempt to win the 11 second contest for the month of October. 2nd out of 207. I was feeling good about this piece but the "mob" is fickle, maybe if I colored it, people seem to be distracted when things are colored, depending on your audience.

11 second club submission -September

Here is my latest submission, after a failed 3d attempt(which is not on my blog) I decided to take a stab at another 2d animation. I ended up placing 2nd out of 141. You can see a higher quality test on youtube or at www.11secondclub.com.

First 3d test scene

So this is my attempt at 3d, I am trying to learn the program and its been frustrating...So this is it, it's still a WIP but I thought I'd share my scene anyway, practice makes perfect right? Needless to say, I started posing carefully, then quickly turned to just animating and winging it...feel free to drop any pointers or tips.

11 second club submission - June

My weak attempt at June's contest, I did this in a week. I tried to incorporate a back story in with the acting. A connection between the crumb of cat food and his struggle to give up the crumb and so on. Obviously I didn't pull it off, I placed 6th out of 137 entries, 1st place was amazing, you should go to this site and check it out http://www.bjandtheblog.blogspot.com/

sigh....Also there are some obvious flaws, but I dont have the motivation to adjust them at present. I like it better without audio

Here is my submission from the 11 Second Club -May contest. Thanks for the votes, to my surprise I ended up winning :D
I animated this on paper and compiled it in flash 8.

11 second club submission- April

This was my April attempt, I ended up placing 3rd out of 160 entries. The voting was close, 1st place had 7.09, 2nd was 7.07 and mine was 6.9. JUst think, 1 more good vote or two and it could have been different!

Submission to 11 Second Club

This was my submission to the 11 Second Club February contest, I finished 11th out of 182 submissions, I was hoping to win but after slaving over this I realized I still have a long way to go. :S YAY!!! Enjoy!

Tenac D Anim only-no audio

Yea so I will most likely try reuploading this in the near future, the audio for some reason WON'T play back in sync, however the animation plays smooth, you can go to youtube to watch it with audio in sync HOWEVER! the animation does not play smooth there, youtube skisp frames, so for this post, mute, and enjoy the animation.

I suppose if you were a big fan you could always download the animation then drop in the audio .. :)

Feel free to comment and request me to animate another "D" short, as I am currently planning two more.

The Nose Picker!

Snow Men

This painting is called "Nativity". The snow flakes represent the beginnings of the snow man.


This is painting is called "Youth", it's the infant stage of the soon to be snow man.

Monster March

Monsters Marching, the 2nd drawing is on a larger peice of paper, thats why it appears smaller, it has been sized down to fit on the screen.

Monster's Ball. Notice one of these characters is not like the other... You guessed it! His hat and tie are not the same, that's why the others are laughing, they find it amusing...Poor Monster man.
